- Put your MP3 player on shuffle
- Make a note of the first five songs, without cheating
- Blog about it and pass it on!
Thanks to Seasider in the City, who originally blogged this. What a brilliant idea this is although I have to say that this could have seriously backfired on me as I do have a very varied taste in music and that coupled with the odd song downloaded for the children, our iPod makes for interesting listening. So here goes:
Wonderwall by Oasis
Phew, that's a classic song from the album 'What's the story morning glory'. That particular album is and will always be one of my favourites, but this is my favourite song of theirs and a great one to sing along to at the top of your voice.
It's on - The Cast of Camp Rock 2
Ok, you are probably thinking that this has something to do with the children. Well, yes and no! My kids do love The Disney and Disney XD channel and we often all sit down and watch the movies on there. I love both of the Camp Rock films. There I said it! I do, they remind me of the sorts of films that I lived when I was young like the original Fame and Footloose films and Flashdance. Anyway, I enjoyed Camp Rock 2 and so I downloaded the soundtrack.
Up all night - Take That
I am a bit of a fan of Take That. I was at university in Manchester when they first became popular and my housemate and I went to see them. They were brilliant live, or at least the little we could hear above the screaming girls. It was lovely when they got back together and although I still prefer the earlier stuff, there have been some great songs recently.
Use somebody - Kings of Leon
Another amazing song and another one I just love singing along to.
Dirrty - Christina Aguilera
I love this song! I wouldn't say I am a massive fan of hers, but this is a great song to dance around the kitchen to.
So that was me doing a shuffle! It didn't turn out as bad as I was expecting. Thanks you to A Mummy Too and From Fun to Mum for tagging me. If you fancy having a go at this, consider yourself tagged!
