Why everyone needs a Lexon Flip Alarm Clock

Getting up on time has been a little hit or miss in this house of late.  We did have a perfectly functional but slightly boring alarm clock which finally gave up on us a few months ago.  It put up a brave fight against the barrage of children who found it fascinating to mess with it, throw it, kick it and generally mistreat it.  When it went off in the middle of the night with a strange noise that would only stop when the batteries were taken out, we came to the conclusion that it needed replacing and then relied on mobile phones, natural sunlight and the children to wake us up in the morning.  There were a few close calls, I can tell you.

Not any more.  New year, new alarm clock.  And this is no ordinary alarm clock, I can assure you.

With so many lovely colours to choose from, it took me a while to decide but I finally chose Prussian Blue. The Lexon Flip Alarm Clock is tiny.  When the package arrived, I was amazed that it was so small. In fact, its measurements are;  10.5cm(W) x 2.9cm(H) x 6.5cm(D).  It is also really light.

So is it easy to use? Yes.  Absolutely.  It is really easy to set up and you are ready to go.

The idea behind this alarm clock is genius.  You literally flip it over to turn it on and off.  If it has 'on' at the top when it's on and if 'off' is at the top it is off.  If you were wondering about the display being upside down; don't worry the time flips too, so that the time is always the right way up.  It is so simple it is brilliant and if you are anything like my husband and I in the morning (neanderthal) then this is perfect.

The alarm is reasonably loud, but not annoying and has done an excellent job of waking us up for the last week.  It has the all important snooze function and to activate this, you simply press the front of the alarm clock and this will also activate the light on both sides of the clock.

The other interesting thing is that so far, the children haven't really noticed the alarm clock, so I don't know if it is child proof, but maybe due to its tiny size, it will remain inconspicuous and they will leave it alone.

I really love this alarm clock and my husband thinks that it is amazing too (and it takes a lot to impress him), so if you are looking for a new alarm clock, I absolutely recommend the Lexon Flip Alarm Clock it is simple and brilliant.

I was sent a Lexon Flip Alarm Clock for the purpose of this review.  All opinions are my own.
