I called Sunday's photo 'Going home' as this was taken as we drove over the Severn Bridge on our way from South Wales. It is that point in the journey when the boys get excited as we are nearly back in England and my husband sighs as we are nearly out of Wales. I was just cross as it had poured with rain all morning and as soon as we got in the car to drive home, the clouds parted and there was this beautiful blue sky. Typical!
Not the most exciting photo for Monday, but the scene amused me. The boys were getting ready for football and A, who is going through a 'helpful' stage, was trying and failing to put L's football socks on.
Tuesday I was trying to take a photo of A but she wouldn't play and kept coming really close. This was the end result and after I edited a little, I was quite pleased with it. She has the loveliest eyes.
Wednesday was one of 'those' days when A had decided that she was going to strop about absolutely everything and so I took this photo when she was having a major strop about something. When she does this, I really wish I could pick her up like this...
A proud mummy moment on Thursday as R played in his first school rugby tournament. He was so pleased to have been chosen and even though they didn't win, he loved it.
A different photo for Friday, this is my favourite picture frame. We had a family photo session last summer and this is some of the photos which I absolutely love.
This is probably my favourite this week, although I do like the close up of A as well. This is a photo of my two gorgeous boys chilling out in their pyjamas at the end of a busy day.

i really love the close up of little A - her eyes are lovely. but the photo of your two boys is cute too - i would have found it hard to chose between them. i am always struggling to ice a fav of mine each week!
ReplyDeletei also like your first one showing the severn bridge x
Thank you! The close up shot was just me messing around, it's funny how those are often the best ones!
DeleteSome great photos, I love the bridge, so clear with the lovely blue sky. All your children look wonderful, strop or not!
ReplyDeleteThank you, they are wonderful I'm very lucky!
DeleteI love that photo frame! All the photos are great, I'd be hard pushed to decide on a favourite.
ReplyDeleteThank you yes I like it, my mum bought it for me a couple of years ago and the photo shoot pictures go really well with it!
DeleteAhhh! I thought you were going to pick the one of A or the bridge. But I've missed the last one. I can see why it's your favourite :)
ReplyDeleteI do like the bridge one but I am a sucker for photos of the children!
DeleteI LOVE the strop shot. Let's face it, life isn't all smiles and cuddles
ReplyDeleteThat is certainly true!
DeleteThat close up of A is perfection! She's adorable and I love the composition and splash of colour with the scarf. Super work!
ReplyDeleteThank you, it came out really well even though I was only messing around!
DeleteLovely selection of pictures! A has gorgeous eyes!
ReplyDeleteThank you, she does and they are completely different to my other children's too!
DeleteYour pics are great as always, Nikki. A is absolutely beautiful.
ReplyDeleteThank you! Yes she is very pretty except for when she has a strop, which is more often than not at the moment!
DeleteI love how L is letting his little sister help!! Wouldn't it be great to pick your little ones up like that? :)
ReplyDeleteThe boys are great with their little sister most of the time which is nice! And yes it would!
DeleteSounds like a great week with a lovely set of photos. Your daughters eyes are beautiful...they just pop out of the photo :-)
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't be able to choose between them, all gorgeous for different reasons. I feel the same about the Severn Bridge but coming the opposite way, the close-up of A is stunning as is the finger-body play photo. I had no idea you had your blog header as an actual picture frame, it's gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteThanks for linking up
Thank you, yes you are the same as OH with the bridge, he really misses living in Wales but accepts that there are not opportunities job wise here!
DeleteAll such great photos. I really love that each one is a tiny insight into your life. It's kind of what I am trying to achieve too.
ReplyDeleteThank you! What does the picture of the sink say about your life then?
