Telly Addicts – 50’s style Ready made meals, whack 'em in the microwave and hey presto, pop your feet up, whack on the tv and nom away whilst the kids are engrossed in The Octonauts. Wrong? Not if the 1950's were anything to go by....

This post is part of the Multi-Coloured Blog Swap Carnival, which is the very clever idea of the very lovely Troubled Doubled. Why not go and have a look to see who else took part.

Love the language 'one can eat'
ReplyDeleteOh, can one?!
It is hilarious I know!
DeleteYay!! thanks for having me! I wasn't sure where it would end up so I figures an image was better than a post on boobies and muff!
ReplyDeleteHappy to have you!
DeleteI love the bit that says 'they can be wheeled in on a trolley so that mother can enjoy the evening programme. The good old days?? A great post
ReplyDeleteI know I wish someone would wheel my meals in of an evening, that would be lovely!
DeleteThank goodness it wasn't boobies and muff, or I would've had to have hosted you to save everyone else the shame. I love the hostess trolley. My nan used to have one, so I think that might have made her 'posh'. Shame every bugger else on the council estate had one too.
ReplyDeleteYes I'm not sure boobies and muff is really my bag!! Yes my nan had a hostess trolley too, funny the idea seems really old fashioned now but some people do still have them!
DeleteLove it!
ReplyDeleteWhy have they made the eggs green inside? Why would you think that's a good idea?
ReplyDeleteWonderful! My grandma had a hostess trolley too, it used to fascinate us, loading it up with the food and wheeling it into the dining room.
ReplyDeleteI think that hostess trollies need to make a comeback. The world misses them.
